The Avon Estuary Forum (AEF) is a completely different discussion forum from what appears on this website for the benefit of ACA members and other visitors; its terms of reference may be found by clicking here – AEF Terms of Reference.  The AEF provides an important  biannual discussion and ‘networking’  opportunity for all parties with an interest in the Avon’s estuary – that is, the tidal zone of the river extending upstream to Venn Weir – and in implementing the Avon Estuary Management Plan (click here to see the plan – http://www.southdevonaonb.org.uk/uploads/Avonmanagementplan(1)Final.pdf .   The Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson are elected by forum attendees and the secretariat is provided by the Estuary Officer of the AONB.  The ACA is merely one set of interested stakeholders.
